Unknown gunmen have kidnapped a Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, following their invasion of the Church early Wednesday.
It was gathered that the gunmen abducted the parish priest, his assistants, Rev. Frs. Stephen Ojapa, MSP, Oliver Okpara and two boys who were in the house.
The hoodlums according to our sources broke into one of the parishes administered by Matthew Hassan Kukah, the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sokoto.
The Director, Social Communications of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Rev. Fr Christopher Omotosho, confirmed the development.
