The Vice-Chancellor of Ebonyi State University, EBSU, Professor Chigozie Ogbu has cautioned Matriculating Students against any act that can jeopardize their aim in the school.
Professor Ogbu gave this advice while delivering his keynote address during the 24th Matriculation Ceremony at Ebonyi State University Abakaliki the State Capital.
He urged them to always know the reasons why they are in the University.
"You must always know why you are here and it must always be in your mind"
"You are here to develop your intellects and character to be useful to yourself and the society at large"
"I urge you to be focused because it is the only way to get success in this School"
Ogbu advised all the students not to allow anybody to mislead them into anything that can destroy their Image and that of the School.
Exam Malpractice
The Vice-Chancellor warned that any students caught in Exam malpractice will be expelled from the School.
In reaction, one of the Matriculating Students, Mr Chinedu Miracle on behalf of others pledges loyalty to the School.
