Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has appointed Mr Chooks Oko as his media aide designate.
The Secretary to the State Government and Coordinating Commissioner, Dr Kenneth Igwe Ugbala announced this on Sunday.
According to Dr Ugbala, "His Excellency, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi has approved the re-designation of Special Assistant to Governor on Media, Deacon Francis Nwaze as Special Assistant on documentation while SA to Governor on Strategy, Mr Chooks Oko is now designated as SA Media and Strategy.
"In the light of the above, handing and taking-over of duties is wth immediately effect."
He said that "all concerned are to ensure strict compliance to this directive."
