An operative of the Ebubeagu South East Security Outfit of the Ebonyi State Chapter, Sunday Izhikpa, has been reportedly gunned down by suspected unknown gunmen.
He was killed by the alleged unknown gunmen at his duty post, Mkpuma Ekwa-oku in Izzi LGA of Ebonyi State.
The sources said that the corpse of the killed Ebubeagu man was evacuated from Mkpuma Ekwa-Oku, where the incident took place this morning.
Confirming the report, the Police Mouthpiece, Ebonyi State Command, Chris Anyanwu said the incident took place this morning. "It happened this morning."
