Reports reaching NATIONAL PANEL are that the hoodlums have attacked and set ablaze the headquarters of the Ezza North local government area of Ebonyi state
The incident came just about one month after swearing in of the new council chairmen in the state.
It could be recalled that Mrs Nora Alo was the immediate past Chairman of Ezza North LGA who handed over to the new chairman Mr Ogodo Ali Nome.

Confirming the attack, the new chairman of the council, Mr Ogodo Ali Nomeh, said that the hoodlums engaged the security operatives manning the council in a gun skirmish and that some of the hoodlums sustained gunshot injuries.
He said that the hoodlums were yet to be arrested as of the time of filing this report.
His words: "We have not arrested anybody now. You know the thing that happened in the night and before we came out this morning, all of them have run away.
"There were so many gunshots. And I think that so many of them were injured. So, we are moving from one hospital to another to check for people that sustained gunshot injuries.
"We are not suspecting anybody now until we apprehend the suspects. You know the thing happened around 2; 00 am the night.
"We are talking with security operatives that had an encounter with the hoodlums," the new chairman said.
