Ebonyi government has declared coming Saturday for the state general sanitation exercise.
The State Commissioner for Environment, Grants and Donor Agencies, Dr Richard Nnabu made this known on Wednesday in a statement.
He informed the general public of the "Sanitation Exercise in Ebonyi State on Saturday, 29th October 2022 between the hours of 7:00 am to 10:am."
The Commissioner said that the residents of the state are expected to use this period to keep their Compounds and surroundings clean.
He stressed l: "As usual, there will be no human or vehicular movement during the period of the Exercise, except those on essential duties like Health Officials, Security Personnel and the press, who must be with means of identification.
"The Residents are also further informed that Ebonyi State Environmental Court will be on the ground to prosecute offenders.
"Please, help to keep Ebonyi State Clean and Green."
