The former Anambra governor and the 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi have praised the Nigerian female players, Flamingos for qualifying for the semi-final of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
Peter Obi commended the female players on Saturday through his confirmed social media wall for reaching the first-ever U17 women’s world cup semi-final.
He posted: “Salute to our talented Flamingos for reaching the first-ever U17 women’s world cup semi-final.
“You all have written your names in our hearts, and Nigerians appreciate your great efforts. Congratulations to you all. – PO.”
Meanwhile, the Flamingos will be playing against Colombia on the 26th of October, 2022, a few days to come. -Daily Independent.
