They commended Senator Egwu's constituency projects and empowerment programmes since 2015 when he took over the Ebonyi North Senatorial seat.
Our correspondent was among the media crew who inspected Senator Egwu's projects ranging from skill acquisition centres, classroom blocks, town halls, hand pump boreholes, motorised boreholes, transformers and roads scattered in various towns and communities in Ebonyi North Senatorial District.
Speaking, the Chairman of Okpuitumo Community in Abakaliki LGA of Ebonyi State, Chief Pius Ukpa Nwibo expressed joy over the electric transformer donated to his community by Senator Egwu.
Chief Nwibo said though the installed transformer was yet to be energized, the community people have promised massive votes for Senator Egwu in considering his impacts on human development and promising virtue towards the impending political transition.
The community stakeholder flanked by the community people was wearing a face cap with the APC inscription belonging to the ruling party candidate for Abakaliki South State Constituency - Hon Joseph Ununu popularly known as Zuma Rock.
"We are aware that this transformer was bought with a large huge amount of money and it was donated to our community by Distinguished Senator Sam Egwu.
"We pray to God to give him long life, and good health and in 2023, we are solidly behind him. Our community will vote for him massively because his 2023 bid is above any party's interest," the community Chairman said.
Also, Godwin Sunday Ikpenyi, one of the stakeholders in the Uburu Amachi/Amachi Ndiebor community, commended Senator Egwu for having donated an electric transformer to his people, noting that since the installation and energization of the transformer, it had continued to drive robust business and other activities in the area.
He recalled that the business activities in the community were stagnant before the installation of the transformer by the Senator. He, however, affirmed that presently the transformer has helped their businesses move smoothly both day and night.
He assured Senator Egwu of the community's maximum cooperation and support to ensure his landslide victory come 2023 polls while commending his leadership dispositions even when he was the governor of Ebonyi state.
Ikpenyi equally lamented the lack of potable water in his community and called for government intervention to assuage the people's challenges emanating from the situation.
Further, Joseph Edigbo, the Village Head of the Ndiugbalaeze Amachi community applauded Senator Egwu for having given an electric transformer to his people.

He declared that his community people had also thrown their weight behind Egwu to accomplish his 2023 bid, and noted that no single vote would miss out as they were in support of his third-term Senatorial proposal.
"You can see that our polling booth is very close to this transformer site. The campaign has been completed. Distinguished Senator Egwu doesn't need to do a campaign. He is a true leader and our people will always vote for him, you don't need to talk about the party he belongs to, because he is a father to all the candidates contesting the 2023 elections. Our words on the day of the election, are please, see the transformers and vote for the donor, it's Senator Sam Egwu and PDP; and nothing more! We are aware that some people are contesting but we believe that a bird at hand is worth more than many in the bush," he stressed.
On his part, Engineer Okechukwu Ohale, a trader and resident of Igwe Okpu town in the Nkaliki Unuphu community lauded Senator Egwu's prompt intervention by donating an electric transformer to the community.
He said the community was engulfed by the blackout but the installation of the transformer by Senator Egwu brought fortunes to the area as the inhabitants especially the traders are currently doing well in their businesses and other activities.
