On the media account of business-inclined people and a nation with a consumer economic look, Lawrence Egede writes.
In all my assessment results of the nature of the personality of Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, he is detected to be highly business inclined.
He dislikes putting up a kind of structure, which can't generate self-sustenance resources that will keep the place maintained.
Apart from making every place at his reach very attractive and conducive to stay, he aims to convert interest into beauty.
He has sympathy for those who know how to do things properly but can't perform, because they are handicapped to move on in life. He helps such people grow.
Merely watching his lifestyle, studying his countenances, his thoughts most of the time and his way of going about things, I am always convinced that he is born a natural business brain.
He is so practical about how to turn around all human activities into viable options, because of the hatred he has developed for indolence, rhetoric theories, low productivity, idle talk, waste of time, fraud, greed, avarice, false claim, extortion, arrogance and pretence. He hates loopholes.
He hates unnecessary delays of important issues that demand urgent attention, and that's why people think he is not patient.
He hates unwarranted excuses and loves a proactive tendency in doing things right, but not to be selfish about it so long as such is in the interest of everyone.
He is always interested in the person who has the initiative to visit his omissions in case there are any, especially when he finds himself too busy to pay needed attention. He expedites actions.
He expects people around him not to play on his intelligence by doing the contrary things, not being crafty about work, but to carry out orders accordingly without any procrastination.
He waits for nobody to teach him to move at the appropriate time, he targets better results.
That's why he thinks positively all the time, and wouldn't want to suspect that somebody has any ulterior motive against him.
He hates disturbances but not avoiding challenges, which are common in every environment.
He loves to have challenges because such challenges do enable his brain to produce positive and perfect results.
He believes in the philosophy of "Business Before Pleasure," and that's why gluttons don't like to talk good of him, especially the people who think of leadership as a yardstick to make merry.
Having X-rayed the character of Governor Umahi over and over again from the way he attends to issues, I saw him in different personality regalia attributable to business consciousness.
He can never leave an efficient person empty-handed or hungry for anything good because he loves very hardworking people.
I have been able to know those who are business conscious, because of my involvement in the field of industrial activities.
If not for the fact that Nigeria is the way she looks, a consumer nation without the principles of strong foreign policy on internal economic stability, which are so essential to viable productivity in Industry, business-conscious people like Governor Umahi are inclined to make the nation very proud in the plannings of global economic safety and securities.
I don't know what you think of Governor Umahi, but in my case, the above expressions are my findings about him and the consumer way Nigeria looks, at business-inclined people.
Don't be angry over what I say about Governor Umahi if you are the type that hates to hear anybody talk good of him.
I am always being fond of him because he impresses me a lot, and there's an adage that says "No smoke without fire," which is quite true all evidence.
To God is the glory forever.
