President Muhammadu Buhari has certified the immediate sack of Brigadier General Mohammed Fadah as the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), almost six months of his appointment in the office.
Recall that Fadah was appointed DG of NYSC in May 2022 as he took over from Major General Shuaibu Ibrahim as the 19th person to hold the position.
NYSC Director of Press and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa, has however confirmed the removal of Fadah, and could not revealed reasons behind his sack.
Megwa noted the President Buhari ordered the removal of Fadah due to his incompetence.
Fadah is said to have been asked to hand over to the most Senior Official within the NYSC.
The Senior Official, our correspondent gathered that would take over from Fadah and is anticipated to be acting DG of the NYSC pending the declaration of a new appointment.
