Former Miss Maureen Chinelo Ogbaga, the daughter of the former Nigerian Minister, Chief Godwin Ogbaga during the weekend tied the nuptial knot with her heartthrob, Mr Magnus Ugo at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Maitama Abuja.
The wedding officiating Priest, Reverend Father Godwin Namiji prayed for the success of the marriage and advised the couple to always be tolerant of each other.
Dignitaries at the event included the mother of the bride, Hon. Barr Elizabeth Ogechi Ogbaga who was the former member of the National Assembly, the sponsor of the wedding and former Governor of Rivers State - Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amechi, Senator representing Ebonyi North Zone in the National Assembly - Dr Sam Ominyi Egwu, former Chief Judge Ebonyi State - Chief Aloy Nwankwo, former Chairman Revenue Allocation Mobilisation and Fiscal Commission - Chief Elias Mbam, a Lagos based Businessman - Chief Innocent Nwangbo, Professor John Ekeh, members of the Federal Executive council past and present, members of the National Assembly past and present, among others
The reception was held at the "Palm D'or Gardens Garki Abuja" and was attended by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria - Prof Yemi Osinbajo, the Secretary to Government of the Federation - Boss Mustapha (representsd), the Minister of Labour and Productivity (state) Festus Keyamo, the Minister for Health (state) - Barr Joseph Ekuma-name, and Minister for power - Engr Abubakar Aliyu.
Other Dignitaries at the reception included the Speaker Ebonyi State house of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Those who spoke at the event described the turnout for the marriage as very fantastic and expressed gratitude to Almighty God and urged the couple to live a humble and tolerant life for the success of the marriage.
