...Strategizes to root out bad governance in Ebonyi

The Labour Party governorship candidate in Ebonyi, Architect Edward Nkwegu has called on the electorate in his state not to vote for any candidate who is a son of a political godfather in the upcoming election to bring back friendly and acceptable changes in all sectors of the state.
Architect Nkwegu popularly addressed as Edon by his admirers sounded the warning during an official opening of the party's Secretariat at Obodo Odo, Ezzamgbo Ohaukwu Local Government Area which attracted a large number of the party's supporters from the council area and beyond.
Architect Nkwegu who expressed happiness about the progressiveness of the Labour Party in the area and the continuously increasing number of the party supporters urged the party's executive in the council to sustain their pragmatic leadership style and ensure that Labour Party convincingly won in the area and beyond.
The Labour Party governorship flag bearer underlined that voting for a gubernatorial candidate endorsed by any political godfather is enslaving and tiring citizens to their perceived selfish leadership ideology that has hampered human and balanced infrastructural development in the state.
He pledged that if elected as the state governor, he will not embark on a project that lacks significance to human well-being.
According to him, poverty remains the most urgent factor facing EbonyiI people and his administration will make its elimination a priority assignment against political, district or family considerations.
He solicits the support of the people in the political constituency for himself, Prince Chibueze Agbo who is vying for the House of Representatives and other two state House of Assembly candidates. Reverend Osondu Oma and Barrister Ona.
On his part, the Labour Party Senatorial candidate for Ebonyi North Senatorial District, Barrister Anselm Enigwe commended the increasing members of the Obidient family in Ohaukwu LGA and encouraged them to keep moving on and winning more electorate.
He pledged to compensate the Party executive in the Local Government Areas with a new coaster bus if he wins the election.
The House of Representatives candidate for Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency Barr. Prince Ndubuisi Chibueze Agbo thanked the gubernatorial candidate Architect Edward Nkwegu for honouring the invitation despite the short notice.
Barr. Prince Ndubuisi Chibueze Agbo said the Ward Executive Committee members that were also inaugurated in the event would further strengthen the party's house-to-house campaign to replicate excelling presidential campaign approach for Peter Obi at the national level in the grassroots and state at large.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Labour Party in Ohaukwu LGA, Dr Greg Esheya described the Obidient movement as the philosophy of Peter Obi and Obidient supporters that can not be pulled down by the evil structure that had kept Nigeria underdeveloped, with a high rate of poverty and suffering.
Dr Esheya said the Obidient families in the LGA, are determined for the total triumph of the party in the 2023 polls.
