In fact, overtime I have come to understand that knowledge is inexhaustible. Nobody should ever boast of having knowledge of all things more than God.
If you come across any type of knowledge, it means that God is reminding you of what you may forget, but don't hoard it or hide from imparting it to others. It is a distributive law of gain.
This is why God is present with us all the time and in all things, reminding us about all things that we could forget.
Yes, it is very true that God always reminded all of us that if not because He is a living God, there will be no living Soul and nothing will be in existence at all.
God is love and truth. He lives in us supplying us with His life so that we continue to live.
But unknowingly to many people who live their lives anyhow, they don't see the God of love and truth living in them because of lack of knowledge.
Lack of knowledge is the loss of the memory that the Spirit of love and truth from God lives in us, while the absence of truth and love of God in us squeezes life out of us which is death.
There is physical death of the flesh and there is the spiritual death, the two are one in twin description of death differing from each other at intervals.
The first death happens to everyone, but the second one happens to the guilty persons before God, during the white throne judgement in the end.
So, God has continued to remind us that people can die twice, if they lose their cases at the lower and at the uppermost Court of justice in divine laws, here and hereafter as they lack in merits. Death is the penalty.
We oftentimes hear that one person or the other has died and at times we attend their burials, but forget that God is reminding us with it that a day will come for our own turn in like manner. No escape route.
We make use of the kindness of God towards us allowing us total freedom to choose, or to take decisions in our own way or by our own volition, without knowing that God gives us the opportunity and the privilege.
God is merciful to everyone but we keep on doing things good or evil, but not knowing exactly the next aftermath.
But how many of us would come to this simple knowledge, that God has always reminded us about life and death?
Or how often would we know or face the whole truth about what God tells us in different ways, and every now and then reminding us about life and death?
For an instance, every daylight and every nightfall we hear God reminding us that He is behind it, but we don't hear His voice and expect Him to shout it into our ears, louder than the action He takes to inform us about it.
God has kept on giving us life and good health free of charge, but we don't know about it just because of carefree attitude.
Even as we are at times sick, it is still hard for us to know the truth, and understand what God uses it to tell us, or to remind us of one thing or the other in life.
But I thank God that everything has a boundary wherefore, if we fall into any trap of sickness or run into trouble, it is at that time we remember God if we care.
Human beings produce a lot of pleasantries which we all enjoy, but forget that God gives us the knowledge to do those things.
Every knowledge and all the skill acquisitions that we come across, we forget it is God who always brings about the whole thing to pass in our lifetimes.
All the opportunities and the privileges we get or got come from God, but most of the time human beings don't know it.
All the positions we occupy or have occupied, with all that we get from it come through God but we seldom acknowledge it.
Many of us who are sane and with understanding heart know we are created by God, but we oftentimes ignore such facts.
We did or do all sorts of things but not aware that we operate within the open eyes of God, who watches us closely in every moment.
We eat, drink and make merry many times, but we forget that God provides it for us to enjoy ourselves to our satisfaction, while some enjoy it to stupor.
We even go beyond our bounds and think that we produce or produced it, as a result of our own labour at our own merits, with personal wisdom, having a hitch free hand of opportunities, private privileges, chances, influences, personal will powers and untold authority, but we forget that God is directly or indirectly aware of all those things that make us brag ourselves about nothing.
Many times we see ourselves doing evil or wicked things against fellow human beings, but forget that God is aware.
At times we make mockery, or fun of people and get away with it scot-free, without knowing that God knows about it and there is a flashback reward therewith.
Rarely do we realize that even when we nursed it in our minds behind the scene, and in strict confidence God is aware of it.
The evils and wickedness going on in the world today, especially in Nigeria was as a result of not knowing that God is a living being and nothing is hidden from His knowledge.
The biblical book of Saint Matthew chapter 10 verse 26 says; "Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed, and hid, that shall not be known."
Nothing good or evil can hide or be hid anymore in the eyes and knowledge of people these days.
Everything is thrown wide open to us by God, reminding us of issues in every moment of of life in the day or night, with what we see going on without hindrance.
God has kept on reminding us that nothing is hidden from Him with signs and wonders, but we kept on forgetting it because of taking no heed to the correct information.
God has kept on reminding us that He created us in His own Image, so that we conform with Him in resemblance, but most of us do a lot of contrary things very often without hesitation.
That's why I am here today with this writeup to talk, so that if we care to listen we should know that God reminds us at all times about things we could forget.
