He lamented over the alleged raising poverty, hunger and suffering that is heating very hard on the people of the area.
"Ezza South/ Ikwo federal constituency has the highest 31 political wards, unlike other federal constituencies in Ebonyi state. I have toured the 31 political wards. It is God that gives power, and it is my turn to take over so that I can remove the shackles of injustice, and misrule that mattered against my people in these two LGAs
"Ogah has tried but the dispensation we are in now does not want him, they are yarning for credible candidates. He (Ogah) should give way for another person to rule the people" he stated
Responding, Okemiri lamented over alleged harassment and intimidation by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, on opposition Parties in the state.
He equally blamed the alleged raising of hunger, youth restiveness and sufferings by citizens, especially the civil and public servants on the APC-led government in Ebonyi state.
Okemiri vowed to defeat all his opponents who are contesting for the Abakaliki South state constituency with him, stressing that the electorates need a man with good character and ideas to represent them in the Ebonyi state House of Assembly.
"Ebonyians are crying because of poverty, hunger, harassment and hardship, and that's why the citizens are yearning for a credible candidate who can change the narratives" he stated.
