NATIONAL PANEL REPORTERS
Dr Sunday Andrew Opoke, the governorship standard bearer of the Young Progressives Congress (YPP) in Ebonyi has condemned every political activity capable of making the 2023 general elections, a bloody exercise in the state.
Engineer Sunday Andrew Opoke.
Dr Opoke who is the Knight of Saint Paul of the Anglican Communion reiterated his gameness to serve Ebonyi people with a fear of God, by bringing hope to the hopeless through Gospel transformation, wealth creation, technology transfer, human capacity building and other evolved chores.
He stated this in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State Capital while addressing his supporters on Saturday.
Opoke, the World emerging water consultant urged his supporters to be law abiding and ensure that they get their permanent voter cards (PVCs) to vote him into the gubernatorial seat in the interest of peace, unity and rapid development of the state.
According to the State YPP governorship candidate, "my emergence in 2023, is sacrosanct and I wish to use this opportunity to urge all the political actors of different parties to approach the forthcoming polls with peaceful steps.
"It's obvious that other political parties except YPP have one problem or the other. If their candidates are not in crisis, their party leadership must be in crisis both at the state and the national levels.
"The political conflict which has internally eroded their parties' prestigious images, is coming up widely at the surface, leading to a wanton fracas, attack and counter-attack, destroying lives and property.
"But be rest assured that, the YPP is a party to beat, I'm going to win and it will be a peaceful and landslide victory for a greater Ebonyi State because only my party has no crisis unlike other political parties and their candidates facing a lot of issues."
