The immediate past ALGON Chairman in Ebonyi State, Princess Nkechinyere Iyioku, has spread joy to the people of the Ohaozara council area during the yuletide.
Princess Iyioku who is currently the SSA to Governor David Umahi in the office of First Lady of the State, Mrs Rachel Umahi spread joy to her people through the passage of an empowerment program phase 3 for the Uhuaturu Ward during the 2023 new year celebration.
Our correspondent reports that on the 1st day of January 2023, Princess Nkechinyere Iyioku empowered Uhuotaru youths with motorbikes, bags of rice, cartons of tomatoes, bags of salt, wrappers, and a cow, as it has been recorded that she, embarked on empowering her people every festive period.
Still on the scene, the Councilor of Uhuotaru ward, Bishop Ikechukwu Igwe donated 20 Phantoms of wrappers and an undisclosed amount of money to 20 widows from the area.
The new year's visit to Princess Nkechinyere Iyioku by her people was the first of its kind as the Uhuotaru residents confessed they have been getting it so good like this, but this one is motivating and heart-blowing.
All the 18 clans of the ward expressed their gratitude, and love, and promised to Support APC.
Personalities who graced the occasion included Engr. Felix Igboke - APC candidate for OHANIVO Federal constituency, Benson Igu Chikezie - APC Candidate for Ohaozara East State Constituency, and many other dignitaries.
The people of Uhuotaru were gathered to have smiled home with motorcycle bikes, bags of rice, cartons of tomatoes, bags of salt, and wrappers, among others.
