An Igbo Monarch, His Royal Highness Igwe Vincent Clinton Ajah, the Ezeigbo 1 of Abeokuta North Local Government Area has congratulated the Ebonyi State Governor-elect, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru on his sounding victory in the just concluded gubernatorial election.
Igwe Ajah in his congratulatory message described Nwifuru's victory as a divine one and commended his competency and experience which according to him led to his landslide victory in the exercise.
The congratulatory message read in full: "I, HRH Igwe Vincent Clinton Ajah, Ezeigbo 1 of Abeokuta North Local Government Area, on behalf of my family and Igbo Community in Abeokuta heartily congratulate the youngest Governor-Elect of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru (Onwa Oferekpe) on your sounding victory in the just concluded Gubernatorial Election.
"Your Victory is divine and an affirmation that you are the most qualified, experienced, acceptable and competent among the Gubernatorial Candidates who participated in the poll. This victory is a justification that power rotation among the Zones in the State has come to stay and can never be thwarted.
"I also wish to congratulate our visionary leader and Lion of the East, His Excellency Engr Dave Nweze Umahi Fnse Fnate CON, Ebonyi State Governor on his victory as the Senate elect, Ebonyi Senatorial Zone. The developmental milestones recorded under your watch as the Governor has placed Ebonyi on the world map and changed the narrative about Ebonyi in the past. Your emergence is a reward for good work done and I'm proud to have you as my Representative in the red chamber.
"I equally thank the Chairman of Onicha LG, Hon Chidiebere Uzor (Obosi) for his commitment and relentless effort in ensuring the victory of the APC Candidates despite the hurdles therein.
