...Assures Nwifuru's victory for guber position
The Labour Party candidate for Izzi West State Constituency, Obinna Nwofoke said that his stepping down from pursuing his ambition was in the interest of equity and power rotation principle, which has prevailed in the Ebonyi State governorship position.
He made this known while interacting with newsmen during the Saturday, March Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.
Hear him: "I stepped down for the interest of Izzi land because a State House Assembly candidate can't offer what a governorship candidate would offer if he wins the election. That's why I stepped down.
"I'm optimistic that Rt Hon Ogbonna Nwifuru will eminently win this governorship election because of his credibility, capacity, outstanding service to humanity and, indeed, he's more than prepared to be the Governor of Ebonyi State.
"That's why you see different candidates of the opposition political parties kept stepping in for the APC before the March 18 elections in Ebonyi."
