Ahead of the Saturday 15th April by-election, the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Abakaliki North State Constituency, Mr Victor Chidiebere Nwoke has urged his supporters to come out massively to vote for him, assuring them effective representation if emerged victorious at the polls.
Nwoke who described himself as the leading candidate with 385 votes in the first ballot held on March 18 poll, implored his supporters to come out massively to vote for him and equally stand bold to defend their votes till the result was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Addressing journalists in Abakaliki, the State Capital, the PDP candidate said, INEC, has announced that the by-election in his constituency would take place in six polling units including Old Timber Shade, Igwe-Orie Open Space 1, EBSU Guest House 2, EBSU Primary School A, EBSU Primary School B, and Achi Junction by Udemezue in Abakaliki Capital City.
Nwoke reiterated that the massive support and solidarity of the voters from the affected polling units during the rerun election would be of great value to him while expressing his determination to set a standard if elected to represent his constituents in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly.
