The Vice-Chancellor, of Godfrey Okoye University (GOU), Enugu, Rev. Fr. Christian Anieke, has offered a full scholarship to Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) overall best student in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UMTE), Lotanna Azuokeke.
The student was also offered a full scholarship to study at Godfrey Okoye College of Medicine.
Anieke announced during the presentation of a car to the first male student “Vice Chancellor For One Day” of GUO on Friday in Enugu.
The Anambra-born Lotanna Azuokeke set a new record in the just-concluded JAMB examination by scoring 337 marks.
Azuokeke is said to be a 15-year-old boy who hails from Ọba in Idemmili South Local Government Area and a student of Bishop Otubelu Juniorate, Trans Ekulu, Enugu.
Details of his score were: English: 64; Mathematics: 99; Physics: 86 and Chemistry: 88, totalling 337. - NAN.
