Media situation report about those of us who preach the regime of Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, Lawrence Egede writes.
Today is Sunday; in the divine week of the Christian world, the true worshipers of God will converge at different places in prayers and supplications, to do their congregational services.
Today is a day that the untrue worshippers attend churches also, and are accommodated in the same place to adore God.
Both true worshippers and the untrue ones converge together, bearing in mind that God doesn't separate, segregate or discriminate but can always welcome everybody friendly and accommodate them well.
The biblical book of Saint Matthew chapter 5 verse 45 says; "That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to shine on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
This passage is telling us to have the mind of God and have it in our habit of appreciation or compensation without bias.
This is the truth about God's attitude towards humanity and the way He handles the law of liberalism generously and also acts on it wholeheartedly.
Likewise, if we know the truth and love the truth, we must also uphold it, confess it, preach it and practice it, not only today but regularly wholeheartedly.
Likewise, Ebonyi State is a place where everybody can come together and do service to humanity wholeheartedly.
Likewise, any regime in Ebonyi State can still accommodate people in a functional system wholeheartedly. It should not reflect discrimination against anybody no matter who the person may be. It is all about equity, justice and fairness.
Accommodation is not only by recognizing a limited number of people still in a system but by remarking the consistent ones presently contributing support quota outside the workforce.
Even the criminals are equally accommodated in a functional democratic system but can be detected and treated the way it is considered commensurate to them. They can be settled out by compensating them better.
In any system there are people very serious about what they do inside and outside, just to make sure that the system is strongly being supported to the end.
Presently in Governor Umahi's regime, people like us preach the gospel of solidarity without bias. We recommend massive appreciation for every excellent developmental stride of the government regularly.
The reasons are many, but the most important ones are to make sure we don't contribute and destroy the government, smear the good image of the regime, or endanger the truth on the legacies of the regime and put ourselves to shame in the eyes of the public later on.
People who know us as ardent preachers of Governor Umahi's regime are waiting to see what will come out of it. The way we are now being treated in public places looks like persecution.
I will never hide my feelings in any way if I see something that I must comment about without bias. I just have to be honest to tell us that information is good, without which we go nowhere.
God forbid that those of us who preach the regime of Governor Umahi be abandoned, mocked and disdained at last.
To God is the glory forever.
