Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has approved the deployment of permanent secretaries to the State Ministries for a few days after his inauguration.
The State Governor's Chief Press Secretary, Dr Monday Uzor announced this on Thursday.
Uzor said that the deployment of the permanent secretaries was part of steps to ensure efficiency and reposition Civil and Public Service in the State.
He said Governor Nwifuru approved the deployment of Permanent Secretaries including Mr Monday Nkwuda for the State Ministry of Works and Transport, Mrs Joy Mbam - Ministry of Lands and Survey and Engr. Chukwuma Ojiogu... Ministry of Power.
Others are Mrs Uzoma Betty - Public Procurement Council, Barr. Albert Aloh - Ministry of Justice, Barr Ogbonnaya Ota - Ministry of Internal Security, Mrs Ogechi Ugwuocha - Lagos Liaison and Mrs Felicia Arusi - Ministry of Agriculture.
Also, Mrs Mfon Williams was deployed to the Ministry of Finance, Dr Kizito Nwovu - Abuja Liaison and Mrs Henrietta Oruh - the Ministry of Infrastructure.
Uzor declared that the deployment of the permanent secretaries by Nwifuru was with immediate effect.
