Chief Emmanuel Obasi JP, the immediate Past Principal Secretary to the Governor of Ebonyi State has congratulated the newly appointed political officeholders in the State under the leadership of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
Chief Obasi in his congratulatory note forwarded to our correspondent on Thursday, also saluted the immediate past Governor of Ebonyi State, Senator David Nweze Umahi alongside other members of the Senate and House of Representatives of Ebonyi State extraction on their successful inauguration.

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO ALL THE NEWLY APPOINTED POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDERS IN THE STATE UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF HIS EXCELLENCY, RT. HON FRANCIS OGBONNA NWIFURU, GCEHF.
I, Chief Emmanuel I. Obasi JP, once more wish to congratulate His Excellency, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and his Deputy, Her Excellency, Princess Patricia Obila on their assumption of Office as the 4th democratically elected Governor and Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State respectively, as well as all those recently appointed as Principal officers, Commissioners, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants in the Government of Ebonyi State. I also wish to congratulate members of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly on the promulgation of the 7th Assembly and election of Principal Officers of the House, all in a space of three weeks of coming into office of the new Administration.
May I also in a very special way congratulate the immediate past Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Engr Chief Dr David Nweze Umahi, Sen Ken Eze and Sen Peter Onyekachi Nwebonyi and members of the House of Representatives of Ebonyi State extraction on their inauguration alongside other 106 Nigerians as Senators and 354 Nigerians as members of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Leadership as we know it in all ramifications is not easy and the job seems to be easy if you are not the one doing it. I, therefore, enjoin all Ebonyians to continue to render unwavering support, solidarity and prayers for the new Administration in the State to succeed, irrespective of political, economic, religious and socio-cultural differences which are our strengths in diversity.
It is worthy to remind all Ebonyians that every Government needs the support and cooperation of the people to succeed. All Ebonyians should, therefore, be prepared to double the support given to the immediate past Governor and Administration to the present Governor and Administration in the State to succeed and take Ebonyi State to greater heights in the spirit of Divine Mandate Consolidation and Continuity.
I also urge all the new appointees and inaugurated political office holders to know that everything that has a beginning must have an end and therefore use the present opportunities they now have to justify their appointments and quest to serve; try to leave indelible legacies and contribute their quota in moving Ebonyi State and the Nation forward.
Once more, congratulations to all the new appointees and inaugurated political officeholders at the State and Federal levels.
