The stakeholders were led to the August visit by the state chairman of the party, Hon. Solomon Chukwu accompanied by other critical stakeholders and candidates of the party in the last general election.
Receiving his guest, Prince Onu thanked them for coming to celebrate the holiday with him and praised their effort in keeping the flag of the party flying in the state.
The Party leader admonished the stakeholders to work with love and a sense of harmony stressing that without love, there would be no progress. He maintained that NNPP has come to stay and all hands must be on deck for the party to get its springboard as a ruling party in the state.
"All hands must be on deck for the party to become virile and be able to compete with other parties to win elections. Our target is the government house and that should drive our motives.
"We must work with love and understanding. Let's be our brother's keeper so that they will not be any room for implosion," Onu said.
The state chairman appreciated the Deputy National chairman for his leadership ingenuity and assured him of the support of the stakeholders in the state
Other stakeholders who spoke took turns to declare their loyalty to the party and the Deputy National Chairman and equally called on the National leadership to extend support to states to have a sense of inclusion in the affairs of the party.
