The Association of the Heads of the Federal Government Establishments on Wednesday elected new executive members in Ebonyi State.
The election held in Abakaliki produced Prof Ama Udu of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) as the Chairman of the Federal Government Establishments in Ebonyi State.
Mr Kenneth Effiong of the Federal Inland Revenue Services and Mr Moses Nwite of the Voice of Nigeria were elected as the Vice Chairman and Secretary of the body respectively.
Other elected officials were Mr Eze Sunday of the TRCN as Assistant Secretary, Dr Mrs Ibiam of TIC as Treasurer (TIC), Mrs Obi ifeoma of the National Library as the Financial Secretary and Mr Anthony Kivubeghari of the Nigerian Television Authority as the Public Relations Officer.
The Electoral Chairman, Comrade Nwoba Pius confirmed that the election was free, fair and credible.
Nwoba who is the State officer of the National Bureau of Statistics encouraged the newly elected Executive Council Members of the group to lead the members with transparency and accountability.
