The State Secretary of the Labour Party (LP) in Ebonyi, Barrister Luke Chibueze Adonwe has commended Governor Francis Nwifuru's administrative policies and programs since he assumed office.
Adonwe said he never regretted why he joined members of his party to adopt Nwifuru as their sole candidate during the last governorship election in the state.
It could be recalled that Ebonyi was among the states in which the Labour Party was not able to field a gubernatorial candidate in the last general election.
This led the Labour Party members to collapse their structures during the gubernatorial poll in the state.
The State Labour Party scribe observed that his party members' decision to adopt Nwifuru as their sole candidate has brought fortune to the Ebonyi people in less than 200 days in office.
Adonwe stated this on his confirmed social media platform this Wednesday.
He said: "Today, I have decided to dedicate my daily Facebook writings to my friend and brother, His Excellency Rt. Hon Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State.
"Sir, I am bold to say that my resolve with other Labour Party Executives in Ebonyi State during the General election of 2023 as our adopted Gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party was a Divine direction for humanity.
"You have shown me, the entire Ebonyians that you are a rare gem and gift to humanity.
"The long-awaited Ominyi/Iboko Road which I started writing for since the inception of democratic dispensation in Ebonyi State was only given attention by you, Your Excellency. Thank you for fulfilling your campaign promises to our people.
"Granted, I am not one of the image makers of your government but I felt it is a debt I owe you, myself and my God if I fail to let the world know that Ominyi/Iboko Road which International communities' attention has been drawn to no avail is now one of the fastest ongoing projects of your administration just a few months after the assumption of your office.
"Now, I want those who called me names herein on Facebook to come here and tell me what he is regretting now about the emergence of His Excellency Rt Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
"For me, all I have seen in your administration is positivity in all ramifications.
"My prayers are the longevity of your life, good health, more wisdom, more Grace, more elevation and a continuous good working relationship with your staff and the Civil Servants.
"For me again, I just need to say I am grateful on behalf of myself, the Mgbalukwu Community, the Izzi Clan and indeed Ebonyi State. Thank you, your Excellency and your amiable wife Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru."
