*Charges Nigerian youth to be industrious
An industrialist and philanthropist, Ambassador Oluwaseyi Abiodun Tinubu, the son of Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has graciously donated a whooping sum of one hundred million (N100,000,000) naira to a non-governmental organization known as Society for Ex - Convicts ( SOFEC ) whose stock in trade is to rehabilitate and reintegrate Nigerian ex-offenders back into society through intensive training on different skills and vocations for them to be self-independent and keep away from crimes and criminality has enjoyed the philanthropic gesture of
Seyi the son of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the most powerful Nigerian youth, donated the presentation of the Award of Excellence In Human Development to him by Dr Ambrose Okoro, the founder of the organization at the conference hall, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
Seyi while interacting with newsmen said he recalled with utter dismay that the youth in Nigeria constitute sixty ( 60% ) per cent of the country’s population, yet they are the vulnerable of the lot and negatively impacted by bad governance. He further maintained that the youth with their good certificates are forced into derogatory jobs they primarily never bargained for and assured that there will be a radical departure from the old system of handling the affairs and policies that have a direct bearing on the well-being of Nigeria youths if only they can avail themselves of the opportunity of his empowerment programme — Seyi Tinubu youth battalion and make effective use of the prime opportunity by being prudent, industrious and committed to hard work. He assured that the youths in Nigeria and the less-privileged of society would benefit massively from his programme currently in place.
In appreciation Dr. Okoro lauded the spirit of benevolence found in Seyi, the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, Loatsad Promomedia Limited, describing him as a youth with exceptional quality who believes that living for the lower class of society remains the best investment and enduring legacy one should live behind for posterity to signposts that such people once existed, and implored Seyi to go on living for the people as the reward is great. The event was well attended by high-profile personalities from all walks of life, including Distinguished senators, Captains of several industries and Leaders of various Non-Governmental organizations.
