Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has been conferred an award as the best Governor of the South East Zone.
The award was bestowed on Governor Nwifuru by Veteran Nollywood Actors and Actresses during the unveiling of Igbo Cinema at the Christian Ecumenical Centre, Abakaliki on Saturday.

Presenting the award to the Governor, a foremost Actor, Chief Pete Edochie said the award was in recognition of the Governor's excellence in governance and for his patriotism in Igbo affairs.
Governor Francis Nwifuru was represented in the event by the Deputy Governor, Princess Patricia Obila.
