In a heartwarming tribute during the 2024 Catholic Mothering Sunday celebration at Saint Maximilian Kolbe Prison Chaplaincy, the Chairperson of the Catholic Women Organization, Princes Chetachi Jerry Usulor yesterday extended heartfelt appreciation to the wife of Ebonyi State Governor, Chief Mrs Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru for her outstanding humanitarian efforts.
Mrs Usulor commended EbEbonyi'sirst first lady for her unwavering commitment to saving the less privileged and marginalized communities in Ebonyi State.
The chairperson, however, said the First Lady's dedication to uplifting the lives of vulnerable populations through various initiatives has not gone unnoticed by the Catholic women, who described her as a beacon of hope and compassion.
"Her selfless service and philanthropic endeavours have made a significant impact on the lives of many individuals and families across the state. Her kindness, generosity, and genuine concern for the well-being of others have earned her widespread admiration and respect from the community"
She further emphasized the importance of recognizing and celebrating individuals like Her Excellency Chief Mrs Uzoamaka Nwifuru, whom she has exemplified the true spirit of philanthropy and altruism, highlighted the First Lady's role in promoting social welfare, healthcare, education, and empowerment programs that have positively transformed the lives of countless people in need.
"As the Catholic Prisons chaplaincy women gathered to honour mothers and reflect on the virtues of compassion and charity, we expressed deep gratitude to the First Lady for her tireless efforts in making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate."
The Catholic women called on other public figures and individuals to emulate the governor's example and contribute to the betterment of society.
