The President of Izhi Urban Solidarity Forum ( IUSF), Hon Emeka Nwite popularly known as Akpa Nwite yesterday commended the leadership of Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, saying his administration has been very eventful and impactful since he assumed office.

Nwite in interaction with newsmen at Abakaliki recalled that Governor Nwifuru had spent one year in office with laudable accomplishments recorded in the state.
"Your Excellency Sir, your administration has made a significant impact in the lives of Ebonyi people and changed the narrative of the state through the People's Charter of Needs mantra of your administration.
"Your monumental achievements across all sectors of the State economy within one year in office are unprecedented and worthy of celebration. We are proud of your accomplishments and commitment to the people of Ebonyi State.
"As you mark your One Year of impactful leadership in Office, I and my family as well as the entire Izhi Urban Solidarity Forum, celebrate with you and assure you of our continued support and solidarity to your administration at all times," the president said.
The President also commended the wife of the Ebonyi State governor, Chief Mrs Uzoamka Nwifuru whom he described as a quintessential mother of the Ebonyi people, for having used his foundation, Better Health for Rural Women, Children and Internally Displaced Persons, BERWO to touch lives in mega styles in the state.
He thanked the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State for her unwavering commitment towards the excellent leadership of Governor Nwifuru, noting that the present administration has performed creditably well in one year in office.
Nwite further appreciated the governor whom he said had in his magnanimity to return the three Council Chairmen of Izhi Clan for a second term in office.
The governor, according to him, returned the incumbent Chairman of Abakaliki local government area, Chief Stephen Ebere Nwogba, his counterpart of Ebonyi, Prince Chinedu Uburu and that of Izzi Council, Barrister Stephen Emenike Nwankpa to re-contest their positions for the term come July 20.
