Member five of Ebonyi State Internally Generated Revenue Services, EBSIRS, Nwedu Abraham Nwedu yesterday hailed the developmental strides of Governor Francis Nwifuru less than two years in office.
Nwedu made the commendation in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital while interacting with newsmen, describing Governor Nwifuru as a heavenly gift to the human race.
He noted that Ebonyi is fastly rising both in promising ranks and files since Governor Nwifuru became the leader of the state.
In his words, the euphoria of the rise of our young State (Ebonyi) under the extraordinary leadership ingenuity of my benefactor, father, elder brother and Chief Security of the State, Governor Francis Nwifuru has become a thing of praise and emulation across the nation.
He commended the First Lady of the State, Chief Mrs Uzoamka Nwifuru for having demonstrated capacity in assisting the governor to lead Ebonyi people to the enviable height.
He said both the indigenes and non-indigenes who are currently living in Ebonyi remain most lucky people while enumerating the lofty achievements of the governor in his first year in office as the Fourth Executive Governor of Ebonyi State
"The development strides, Governor Nwifuru's administration has recorded in less than a year in his office remain laudable in Ebonyi State.
"Nwifuru has engendered friendly security, ease of business and life, unprecedented infrastructural development, human empowerment and workers' welfare especially Onwa Healthcare among others, are true demonstration and definition of a true leadership.
"The recent 5th position of the State in the just concluded Nigerian States Fiscal Transparency League 2024 1st quarter by BudgIT and the distribution of brand new Prado Jeep to his Cabinet members as frontline ambassadors of his People's Charter of Needs mantra were a practical demonstration of his readiness and commitment to taking Ebonyi State to an enviable height.
"Worthy of mention too is his charismatic and unconquerable spirit in uniting every citizen of the State. Bravo the true son of Ekumenyi.
"My prayer is that you will continue to find favour with both God and man."
