Enyibichiri qualified after they won Noyo 1-0 on Saturday 21st December 2024 in the opening Match of the football showpiece at Central primary school, Idembia and played 1-1 draw at the return leg held on 26th December, 2024.
On Sunday 22nd December 2024, Ndufu Alike went up against Echialike at Onunwakpu Ndufu Alike which ended in goaless draw. However, at the return leg held on 27th and 29th December respectively, Ndufu Alike team triumphed 6-5 in a penalty shootout.
In the 3rd place match, Noyo football club will battle Echialike on 31st December at Central Primary School, Idembia by 10am. While the grand finale holds on the same Tuesday 31st December, 2024 with Enyibichiri taking on Ndufu Alike at CPS Idembia Enyibichiri by 3pm.
The central planning committee calls on stakeholders of Alike community and indeed all sports lovers in Ebonyi State to attend the final of Alike Unity Football Tournament 2024 as it promises to be entertaining and unifying.
