Senator Sahabi Alhaji Ya’u (Danmadamin Kaura), representing Zamfara North Senatorial District, has praised President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration on the occasion of its second anniversary, stating that Nigeria is steadily advancing toward peace, stability, and economic growth.
In a statement marking the milestone, Senator Yau said the country has seen purposeful governance under President Tinubu’s leadership over the past two years. He noted that although the administration inherited significant challenges, its proactive programs and policies have started to produce visible results.
“We’ve witnessed significant strides in the fight against insecurity and the revitalisation of our economy,” Senator Yau said. “Areas once plagued by terrorism and criminal activity, particularly in the North West, are now recovering. The notorious Abuja-Kaduna highway has regained safety, while violence in the Southeast is receding. The battle against Boko Haram remains relentless.”
Senator Yau also expressed confidence in the administration’s development-focused initiatives, such as the establishment of regional development commissions and investments in health and education. He described the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as a transformative initiative that has already benefitted over 300,000 students.
He further noted that the growing calls by APC stakeholders for President Tinubu to seek a second term were a testament to the progress made and the President’s leadership vision.
Reaffirming the National Assembly’s support for the Renewed Hope Agenda, Senator Yau urged Nigerians to continue supporting the government’s efforts and to remain committed to national peace and progress.
“Let us continue to pray for our leaders, support the government’s initiatives, and work together for the peace and prosperity of our nation,” he said.
The statement was released by Abdulrazak Namadi Liman, Media Aide to Senator Sahabi Yau Kaura, who also chairs the Senate Committee on FERMA.
