The Member Representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, has donated N30 million to cover the 2025 NECO SSCE registration fees for 1,000 students in his constituency.
The donation aimed at easing the financial burden on students and their families, enabling them to register for the national examination without cost.
The initiative is part of Ogah's ongoing efforts to support education and youth development within his constituency.
The lawmaker said the intervention was designed to promote equal access to education and help bridge the gap created by economic challenges that often hinder students from continuing their academic pursuits.
Ogah’s gesture has been widely acknowledged as a significant step toward educational equity and an example of proactive leadership in addressing youth empowerment through education.
