Mr Idowu Oluwafemi Clement, Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor on Special Duties, has distributed school materials to students of Ekosin Grammar School and Iyeku Community High School in Ward 5, Odo-Otin Local Government Area of Osun State.
The event was part of Idowu’s commitment to grassroots empowerment and educational development.
The students expressed their appreciation for the gesture and commended the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Prince Adewale Egbedun, for his leadership and support for education in the state.
They also offered prayers for Governor Ademola Adeleke, wishing him wisdom and strength to continue leading the state.
The Principal of Ekosin Grammar School described the intervention as a valuable contribution that would boost students’ learning experience. The Vice Principal of Iyeku Community High School also expressed gratitude for the initiative.
Speaking during the distribution, Hon. Femi Idowu said the program was in line with his personal commitment to support Governor Adeleke’s education agenda. He added that primary schools would be covered in the next phases and praised Prince Adewale Egbedun for his leadership in prioritizing education across Osun State.
Idowu expressed confidence in Governor Adeleke’s success in the 2026 election and prayed for continued progress for the state.
The event was attended by several PDP leaders and well-wishers, including Tiamiyu Simiyu (Councilor, Ward 5), Adeyemi Adelani Alayo (Councillor, Ward 12), Sunday Afolabi (PDP Chairman, Ward 5), Adesoji Ajibade (Former Youth Leader, Ward 5), and Blessing Adegbite.
The initiative reflects the Adeleke-led administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the education sector and promote grassroots development.
