The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Hon. Nwafor Richard Nwali, the State Publicity Secretary of PDP in Ebonyi State, as a member of the Southeast Contact and Mobilization Committee.
The committee, which was officially inaugurated under the chairmanship of Dr. Martin Chukwuwike, Enugu State PDP Chairman, is tasked with strengthening grassroots engagement, driving party unity, and enhancing mobilization efforts across the Southeast region ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In his reaction, Hon. Nwali expressed profound gratitude to key party leaders, including the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the National Vice Chairman of the PDP Southeast, High Chief Dr. Ali Odefa, and the leader of PDP in Ebonyi State, His Excellency Dr. Sam Ominyi Egwu (Igurube), for finding him and other members worthy of the appointment.
"I am deeply honored by this appointment. I assure our leaders and party faithful of my unwavering dedication to the growth and success of our great party. This is a call to service, and I am ready to contribute meaningfully to our collective goal of repositioning the PDP for 2027 and beyond,” Nwali stated.
He also extended congratulations to his fellow committee members, reaffirming his commitment to unity, mobilization, and strategic outreach within the zone.
The formation of the committee marks a significant step in the PDP’s reorganization efforts in the Southeast, as the party intensifies its preparation for future electoral contests.
