The digital skies weren’t ready when Nigeria’s unapologetic screen queen, Iyabo Ojo, launched a no-holds-barred social media offensive after a Tanzanian influencer, allegedly nursing unprocessed heartbreak, dragged her daughter Priscilla Ojo and Afrobeats heartthrob Jux into a swirling storm of online chaos.
It all began when the influencer—whose identity remains unconfirmed but who’s known on East African socials as @BongoBadgyal—posted a cryptic but fiery reel laced with passive-aggressive swipes. The caption?
“Being flown out doesn’t make you the queen of East Africa. Some people are just guests in our culture... and our men.”
The internet got the hint. Priscilla Ojo, who has recently been spotted vacationing, vibing, and allegedly vibing hard with Tanzanian superstar Juma Jux, instantly became the unwitting protagonist of the shade saga.
Before the tea could cool, Iyabo Ojo stepped into the arena. And she did NOT whisper.
Clad in full glam and righteous fury, she dropped a video message now known across African TikTok as “The Mummy G.O Clapback Chronicles.” In her own words:
“Let me say this with all due respect—but mostly disrespect: My daughter is not in the business of dragging men, she’s too busy getting bags. If Jux is your national treasure, protect him. Don’t project your insecurities on my baby girl.”
