The Commissioner of Police, Ebonyi State Command, CP Adaku Uche-Anya has extended warm greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of the 2025 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a press release issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Joshua Ukandu yesterday, the Commissioner assured the public of the command’s commitment to ensuring a safe and peaceful celebration across the state.
To this effect, CP Uche-Anya has directed Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and heads of tactical and operational units to deploy both operational and intelligence assets within their areas of responsibility.
She also urged Muslim faithful to celebrate responsibly and exhibit compassion to their neighbours, in keeping with the spirit of the festival.
The Commissioner further called on all residents to remain law-abiding and report any suspicious movements or incidents to the nearest police station or via the command’s control room number: 07064515001.
