Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s second anniversary in office on May 29, 2025, has been lauded as a period of “impactful leadership” for Ebonyi State.
In a congratulatory note, Comrade Sunday Nwambam, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Inter-Party Affairs, praised the governor’s “visionary leadership and inclusive governance” that has strengthened unity and stability across political, ethnic, and religious lines.
The statement highlighted Governor Nwifuru’s achievements in critical sectors including healthcare, education, agriculture, civil service reform, security, rural development, and human capital investment.
According to Nwambam, these efforts have not only transformed the state’s physical landscape but have also “restored dignity and hope to the people of Ebonyi.”
The message further commended the humanitarian initiatives of the governor’s wife, Chief Mrs. Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru, through the BERWO program, noting its alignment with the administration’s broader development agenda.
Appreciation was also extended to key stakeholders, including the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Princess Patricia Onyemaechi Obila, the Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Ije Odunwa, the Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Elvis Ngene, and members of the National Assembly representing Ebonyi State.
Nwambam concluded by calling on all stakeholders and the people of Ebonyi to sustain their support for Governor Nwifuru’s leadership in order to bring greater peace, progress, and prosperity to the state.
