*Describes former deputy governor as dedicated statesman from Ebonyi State

Senator Kenneth Emeka Eze, representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has paid glowing tribute to the immediate past Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Barrister Eric Kelechi Igwe, in celebration of his 55th birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory note delivered yesterday in Abakaliki, Senator Eze described Igwe as a “dedicated statesman” whose leadership has left a lasting impact on the development and progress of Ebonyi State.
“It is with a heart full of gratitude to God and great delight that I convey the warm felicitations of my family, associates, and the good people of Ebonyi Central Senatorial District on the auspicious occasion of your birthday,” Senator Eze said.
He lauded Igwe’s years of public service, highlighting his tenure as deputy governor as one marked by unwavering commitment and significant achievements that continue to earn him admiration across the state and beyond.
“Your Excellency, you deployed your prodigious capacity in service to the people of Ebonyi and contributed immensely to our collective advancement. Your life reflects divine favour, and while your accomplishments are many, even greater honours lie ahead,” Eze added.
The senator concluded his message with prayers for Igwe’s continued health and long life, expressing confidence that his legacy of service would remain a source of inspiration to many.
