The youth leader of the Ohaukwu Youth general Assembly, Comrade Onah Emmanuel, has called upon the media team to prioritize professionalism and innovation in their reporting responsibilities.
This appeal was made during a recent press release by Comrade Ngonu Henry, the Media Director of the Ohaukwu Youth General Assembly, which was distributed to journalists in Abakaliki, the state capital.
In his address, Comrade Ngonu underscored the importance of commitment to truth, professionalism, and innovation in all facets of media work—whether covering events, managing social media, designing campaigns, or creating content that amplifies the voice of the Ohaukwu youth.
He urged media team members to approach their tasks with passion and excellence.
“It is with a deep sense of appreciation and responsibility that I address you today as vital pillars of the Ohaukwu Youth General Assembly. As members of the Media Group, you carry the voice, image, and vision of our Assembly. Your role is not just to inform but to inspire, not just to report but to represent,” Comrade Ngonu stated.
He emphasized the significance of their contribution, asserting, "We are in an era where information is power, and those who control the narrative shape the future. Therefore, your work is instrumental in projecting the values, projects, and initiatives of this great Assembly. You are the bridge between our actions and the people we serve."
Comrade Ngonu reiterated the necessity of remaining steadfast in commitment to truth and excellence. “Let us continue to work together as one media family united, creative, and forward-thinking. I urge each of you to see your role not just as a duty, but as an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth and unity of Ohaukwu,” he encouraged.
He reminded the group of their motto: "Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress," urging all members to ensure that their message is clear, their vision bold, and their presence impactful.
The call to action comes at a pivotal time, highlighting the crucial role of the youth’s media efforts in shaping public perceptions and fostering unity within Ohaukwu community.
