As political permutations ahead of the 2027 general elections intensify, Hon. Hajia Asmau Saleiman Adeyemi, Director-General of the Renewed Hope Independent Support Groups Committee (RIC), has declared that there is "no vacancy in the Presidency until 2031," affirming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election as a foregone conclusion.
Speaking to journalists in Osun State over the weekend, Hajia Adeyemi said Nigerians must rise above political distractions and recognize the undeniable transformation under Tinubu's administration.
She described the president as the most visionary leader Nigeria has ever had, insisting that his second term is not only necessary but non-negotiable.
“President Tinubu has delivered on his campaign promises—security, infrastructure, empowerment, and visionary leadership. His leadership is not just symbolic; it is strategic and results-driven,” she said.
Citing major improvements in security, road infrastructure, education, and healthcare across Nigeria, the RIC leader stated that no coalition of political interests can reverse the gains made in the past two years.
“Before Tinubu, we were like orphans plagued by insecurity and infrastructural decay. But today, thanks to the Renewed Hope Agenda, we are witnessing a national rebirth,” she added.
She also accused unnamed coalition groups of “wishful thinking” and attempting to distract the public from the president’s successes.
She described them as opportunists who should not be allowed to take Nigeria backward.
“This is not the time for political gambling or experimentation. It is time to consolidate our gains. Any attempt to derail this progress is political backwardness,” she said.
According to Hajia Adeyemi, President Tinubu has neutralized criminal threats in the North, modernized roads that were once death traps, and revitalized healthcare and education systems.
“He has touched every sector — from healthcare to agriculture, commerce to education. Tinubu’s presidency has restored national pride and hope,” she declared.
She further urged journalists, stakeholders, and Nigerians at large to resist campaigns against the president and instead rally support to ensure continuity in governance and reforms.
“We can’t return to the dark days. The message is clear — there’s no vacancy in Aso Rock come 2027. Tinubu must return to consolidate these achievements,” she said firmly.
Hajia Adeyemi, also a prominent grassroots mobilizer, ended her address with a passionate appeal to the president to continue rewarding loyal party members who have stood firmly with his administration since inception.
The RIC boss, widely regarded as a frontline female political mobilizer, emphasized that political loyalty must be acknowledged with inclusion in governance.
“Hope must meet those who believed in hope. Those who labored for Renewed Hope must be remembered,” she added.
