The African Democratic Congress (ADC), in partnership with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has published the official and authenticated list of its substantive State Party Chairmen across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
According to the party leadership, the move is designed to foster internal harmony, deepen transparency and prevent misinformation or rancour among stakeholders and the general public.
The official list features seasoned politicians, technocrats, grassroots mobilizers, and women leaders drawn from across the federation.
In the North-Central, Kingsley Temitope was announced for Kogi State, while Alaki Godwin W. takes charge in Nasarawa, Hon. Adikwu A. Elias leads in Benue, Alhaji Musa Hassan heads Niger, Hon. Olona Adeoti represents Oyo, and Otumba Patrick Olufemi is confirmed for Ogun State. The zone also includes Adebayo S. Akadi in Kwara, Dr. Charles Idowu Omidiji in Osun, and Ilesanmi Joel Omolayo in Ekiti.
In the North-West, Hon. Kabiru Hussain was confirmed for Jigawa, Engr. Bala Safiyanu for Kebbi, Kabiru Garba for Zamfara, Alhaji Bello Isiyaka for Sokoto, Musa Usman for Katsina, and Musa S. Ungogo for Kano.
The North-East list features Muhammad Khala for Borno, Adamu Hassan M. for Taraba, Arabi Mustapha for Adamawa, Hassan Haruna for Bauchi, Umar Khali Alhaji for Yobe, and Auwal Abba Barde for Gombe.
In the South-East, Don Norman Obinna is recognized as Abia State Chairman, James Okoroma leads Imo, Stella Chukwuma heads Enugu, Obiayo Patrick represents Anambra, and Jennifer Adibie was announced for Ebonyi.
For the South-South zone, the party confirmed Odion Kennedy O. in Edo, Okolie C. Austin in Delta, Johnny Tovie Derek in Bayelsa, Dr. John Ogar in Cross River, and Duke Gabriel in Akwa Ibom.
The South-West leadership list includes Chief (Mrs.) Ganiyu Sidirika in Ondo, George Asiru in Lagos, and Hon. Olona Adeoti in Oyo, with Otumba Patrick Olufemi in Ogun and Ilesanmi Joel Omolayo in Ekiti joining the lineup.
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) also got representation, with Obah C. Ehigiator confirmed as substantive chairman.
Other notable figures include Patrick D. Ambut for Kaduna, Sampson Leader in Rivers, and Kingsley Temitope in Kogi.
Releasing the names, the party reiterated its commitment to building internal cohesion, strengthening democratic ideals, and positioning itself as a viable platform for Nigeria’s future. It urged all members, stakeholders, and the public to recognize this harmonized structure as validated by INEC.
“The African Democratic Congress remains committed to national development and will continue to ensure transparency in its processes,” the leadership declared.
