*Founder pledges jobs, ₦300,000 support for persons with disabilities
The LACH Foundation has been honoured with an Award of Excellence and Humanitarian Service by the Association of People with Disabilities, Ebonyi North Zone, in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the welfare of the less privileged.
The award was presented on November 1, 2025, to the Foundation’s Director-General and Founder, Apostle (Barr.) Luke Chibueze Adonwe, at a ceremony that celebrated individuals and organizations championing inclusion and social support in Ebonyi State.
In his acceptance speech, Adonwe expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Association and reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to continued partnership.
He announced the employment of a member of the Association as part of the Foundation’s staff, complete with monthly remuneration.
The philanthropist further revealed plans to rescue street beggars and provide them with a permanent home once the Foundation’s Humanitarian Shelter Project at Nwomilla Village, Mgbalukwu Community, Izzi LGA, is completed.
In a show of generosity, Apostle Adonwe also donated ₦300,000 in support of the Association’s event and pledged additional assistance toward its forthcoming building project.
He reiterated LACH Foundation’s vision of empowering persons with disabilities through skills training, in collaboration with government agencies and local artisans, an effort aimed at helping them achieve self-reliance and dignity.
Among those who accompanied Apostle Adonwe to the event were Pauline Ucha (Director of New Media), Ben Odunze (Director of Transportation & French Translations), and Nwamini Obinna Daniel (Personal Assistant to the DG).
Since its inception, LACH Foundation has remained steadfast in its mission to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity to the needy and vulnerable across Nigeria.
