In a bid to advance national development and youth empowerment, the Progressive People’s Resolution (PPR) has strengthened its political and institutional ties with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Federal Ministry of Youth Development.
The National Leader of PPR, Engr. Ubong Idemudo, on Thursday led a high-level delegation to the APC National Secretariat and the Federal Ministry of Youth Development in what party officials described as “strategic engagements to foster collaboration and inclusive development.”
Speaking with journalists in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, PPR Coordinator Comrade Gloria Uzor-Igwe disclosed that at the APC Secretariat, the delegation met with the Director of Protocol to the APC National Chairman to explore avenues for inter-party cooperation and national development initiatives.
“The engagement underscores PPR’s commitment to building strategic alliances with key political stakeholders for the benefit of Nigerians, especially the youth,” Uzor-Igwe said.
The PPR team also visited the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, where they held discussions with the Chief of Staff to the Honourable Minister of Youth.
The talks focused on designing programs to empower PPR members nationwide, with particular attention to youth-centered initiatives and government-supported development projects.
Joining Engr. Idemudo were top PPR officials, including National Chairman Comrade Abdulsalam Said Sulaiman and the National Director of Finance.
Uzor-Igwe emphasized that these engagements are part of PPR’s broader national outreach strategy, aimed at deepening institutional cooperation and ensuring grassroots participation in development programs.
Describing the visit as a “strategic step towards partnerships that deliver tangible benefits to our members and the nation’s youth,” Uzor-Igwe expressed optimism that collaboration between PPR, APC, and the Federal Ministry of Youth Development would accelerate initiatives that strengthen governance, political inclusiveness, and youth empowerment.
