The member representing Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, OON, has donated ₦10 million to support the ongoing building project of the Assemblies of God Church, Ikwo District.
Ogah made the contribution during the 2025 Mega Fellowship Meeting held at the District Headquarters, AGC Nwakpu, which drew clergy and laity from across Ikwo Local Government Area.
In his address, the federal lawmaker praised the church for its critical role in shaping society and nurturing moral values. He urged Christians to continue praying for leaders at all levels of government, emphasizing that such prayers are essential for the nation’s growth and stability.
“Churches play a vital role in guiding the moral compass of society. It is our collective duty to support the work of God and foster unity among Christians in Ebonyi and beyond," he said.
The District Superintendent, Rev. S. N. Opeke, Ph.D., alongside other ministers, expressed appreciation for the lawmaker’s support.
They prayed for his continued success in political and personal endeavors, acknowledging his commitment to community development and faith-based initiatives.
Ogah’s donation forms part of his broader efforts to support both spiritual and social projects in his constituency, reflecting his dedication to community empowerment and interfaith harmony.
