The Stephen and Judith Igwe International Education Foundation has officially released the list of successful candidates for its 2026 Undergraduate Scholarship Programme.
The announcement was jointly signed by Rev. Fr. Dr. Peter Omogo, Chairman of the Governing Board, and Dr. Stephen C. Ikporo, Secretary of the Governing Board on Thursday, 1st day of January 2026.
According to the public announcement issued by the Foundation’s Governing Board, a total of 45 applicants were confirmed to have successfully emerged from the screening and interview exercise conducted for the highly competitive scholarship scheme.
The programme is part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to promoting access to quality education and supporting academically promising students.
The announcers said the successful candidates were selected after a transparent and merit-based evaluation process overseen by the Governing Board of the Foundation.
They said all shortlisted candidates were invited to attend a mandatory briefing scheduled to hold on Saturday, 3rd January, 2026 by 10:00 a.m. prompt,
Pastoral Center, Abakaliki.
The Foundation emphasized that attendance at the briefing is compulsory, as important information regarding the scholarship award, expectations, and next steps will be communicated.
The Stephen and Judith Igwe International Education Foundation congratulated all successful candidates and encouraged them to remain committed to academic excellence, integrity, and responsible leadership as beneficiaries of the scholarship programme.
