The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced Tuesday, March 24, 2026, as the date for the screening of aspirants contesting for national offices ahead of its forthcoming National Convention.
This was disclosed in an official notice issued on Sunday in Abuja by the Secretary of the Aspirants’ Screening Committee, Isa Yuguda.
According to the notice, all aspirants who have successfully purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms are required to present themselves for the screening exercise.
“The Aspirants’ Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention 2026 hereby invites all aspirants who have duly purchased and submitted Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for National Offices at the Convention to attend the screening exercise,” the statement read.
The exercise is scheduled to hold at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The committee emphasized that attendance is mandatory, stressing the need for punctuality and strict adherence to the timetable. Aspirants are also required to appear in person with all relevant supporting documents for verification.
“All aspirants are required to attend in person and arrive promptly with all relevant supporting documents for verification,” the notice added.

The screening exercise marks a key step in the build-up to the APC’s 2026 National Convention, where new party officials are expected to emerge.
