A pro-All Progressives Congress (APC) support group, Nigeria Consensus and Awareness for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) 2027, has declared its readiness to mobilise and deliver five million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The National Director on Monitoring, Planning, Logistics and Administration of the group, Hon. Otunba Akin Joye, made the declaration in Abakaliki while addressing stakeholders and supporters during a meeting on the group’s activities and mobilisation plans ahead of the forthcoming general election.
Akin Joye said the support group had already established a formidable national structure with members spread across the six geo-political zones of the country.
According to him, the organisation has commenced massive deployment of experts, coordinators and think tanks nationwide to galvanise support for the re-election bid of President Tinubu.
He explained that the group had successfully inaugurated coordinators across the six geo-political zones as part of efforts to strengthen its grassroots mobilisation network.
“The resolve to deliver five million votes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the outcome of an expanded stakeholders’ meeting of the group held in Akure, the Ondo State capital,” he stated.
The director further noted that the group was refining its strategies, policies and programmes aimed at sensitising and mobilising eligible voters ahead of the 2027 polls.
Akin Joye commended the national leadership of the APC under the National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, and the National Secretary, Dr. Senator Ajibola Basiru, for granting official recognition to the support group.
“We are an APC support group committed to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.
He described the APC leadership as steadfast and resilient in piloting the affairs of the ruling party, adding that their leadership qualities had continued to strengthen party unity across the country.
The support group director also paid tribute to members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), including the Deputy National Chairman (North), Hon. Dr. Ali Bukar Dalori; National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru; National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Mohammed Arugungu; and the National Women Leader, Dr. Mary Alile Idele, among others.
He further appreciated President Tinubu, APC governors, senators and members of the National Assembly for what he described as their commitment to strengthening unity and cohesion within the party.
Nigeria Consensus and Awareness for Bola Ahmed Tinubu was formed in 2023 with the objective of mobilising support for President Tinubu and ensuring his electoral success.
