...Supporters hail lawmaker’s leadership, developmental strides, pledge sustained grassroots mobilisation
Ahead of the 2027 general elections, grassroots support for the Member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, appears to be gathering momentum, as his supporters in Ekpaomaka Ward have reaffirmed their loyalty to the federal lawmaker.
The development followed a courtesy visit by members of the Chinedu Ogah Fans, Ekpaomaka Ward, to the lawmaker, during which the delegation pledged sustained grassroots mobilisation and support for his political leadership.
Ogah, who is the Chairman of the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, received the delegation led by the Ekpaomaka Ward Coordinator, Hon. Nwoba Okwuchukwu.
The delegation also comprised Lady Margaret Ezaka and Comrade Ogiji Emenike Benjamin, who coordinated the visit.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Hon. Nwoba Ugbala, Hon. Anthony Nwankweke, Mr Nwele Simon, Hon. Nwekoyo Chinedu, Lady Margaret Ezaka and Rt. Hon. Ransom Nwigbo commended Ogah for what they described as his people-oriented leadership and developmental interventions in Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency.
The supporters said the visit was not merely a social engagement but an opportunity to strengthen their relationship with the lawmaker and reaffirm their confidence in his representation at the National Assembly.
They maintained that Ogah’s leadership had continued to attract attention to the needs and aspirations of constituents, stressing that effective representation should be measured by responsiveness to the people and commitment to constituency development.
The delegation further expressed confidence in the lawmaker’s leadership, pledging to sustain grassroots mobilisation in Ekpaomaka Ward and other parts of the constituency.
According to the supporters, unity and cooperation among constituents would be critical to consolidating the gains they attributed to Ogah’s representation and advancing the interests of the people.
They also assured the lawmaker of their continued cooperation, insisting that grassroots structures remained central to any political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
The renewed declaration of support comes as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, with politicians, supporters and various interest groups across Ebonyi State beginning to position themselves for the emerging political contest.
For the Ekpaomaka Ward supporters, the immediate priority is to strengthen their grassroots network and maintain what they described as a united front in support of Ogah’s leadership.
The group said it would continue to engage constituents and mobilise support for initiatives and programmes considered beneficial to the people of Ikwo/Ezza South.
The courtesy visit ended with renewed assurances of unity, cooperation and sustained grassroots mobilisation in support of Ogah’s political vision.
The supporters also reiterated their commitment to working collectively towards the continued progress and development of Ekpaomaka Ward and the wider Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency.
